Hi Sam,
Please pass on our warmest regards to all the volunteers, refs, stats people, coaches, assistants and everyone on the SVYSA Board. Fred and I were blown away by all the organization that goes into the season and the tournament weekend. From what we could tell, it went off without a hitch. We know you are all busy people but each year you step up and make sure these deserving children get to play soccer. You all deserve to be commended! THANKS SO MUCH!!!

I want to comment on Opening day and the league in general. I am very impressed with the forward progress this league has made since I was coaching my kids 8-10 years back. There is so much more going on, from new bathrooms, new fields, better equipment, all the way to competitive select teams, etc… Generally much more professionalism and dedication. Kudos to the new board to having overcome the divisiveness of the last few years to emerge stronger and united in cause. Keep up the good work!

Hi Sam,
Thank you to you and the entire SVYSA Board for all you do for all of our kids in this community! I wanted to comment what a great refereeing experience Adam is having this year as a first year licensed ref. The coaches and Alison, and board members, have been so accommodating and helpful.
I also wanted to compliment Will White, who is doing a great job of coaching these U14 boys who are quite a dynamic and motley bunch! He is transforming them into a true team. The boys are not only having a good time, but they are learning to work together and utilizing their individual skills collectively. Thank you for contributing to the development of responsible and community minded young adults! See you on the field!

Dear SVYSA,
Just wanted to give you some positive feedback on this soccer season! My daughter is a brand new referee, and I just wanted you to know how kind, complimentary, & wonderful the coaches and parents have been to her. I have heard a lot of: “Thanks, ref!” “Great job, ref!” etc. coming from every single coach and positive comments from the parents as well. I know this kind of support means the world to the referees and sets a standard for all spectators and players alike to follow. A supportive environment like ours allows our refs to improve their skills without having to be concerned about major criticism. SVYSA should be proud of the great sportsmanship that has been modeled by the coaches and the trickle-down effect this has on everyone involved in the league!
