Dear SVYSA, Just wanted to give you some positive feedback on this soccer season! My daughter is a brand new referee, and I just wanted you to know how kind, complimentary, & wonderful the coaches and parents have been to her. I have heard a lot of: “Thanks, ref!” “Great job, ref!” etc. coming from every single coach and positive comments from the parents as well. I know this kind of support means the world to the referees and sets a standard for all spectators and players alike to follow. A supportive environment like ours allows our refs to improve their skills without having to be concerned about major criticism. SVYSA should be proud of the great sportsmanship that has been modeled by the coaches and the trickle-down effect this has on everyone involved in the league! -Tiffany Knef |
