Those seeking registration scholarships must
- Review the Scholarship Guidelines and
- Submit a Scholarship Application to the league, in person, at one of the three Walk-In Registrations, along with completed registration forms and verification of income.
2010 Scholarships will only be awarded in exchange for hours worked by either the player, or player's parents (13 and under). There will be no full scholarships awarded. Eligible players are expected to pay at least 50% or more of their Registration Fees, in order to continue the Scholarship Program for 2010.
If your family qualifies for the Sonoma Valley Unified School District Free or Reduced-Lunch Program, you will need to present your official Confirmation Letter as verification. If you do not have your Confirmation Letter, you may pick up a duplicate letter at the Food Services Office, opposite the Bus Barn Office. If a family receives government assistance such as Food Stamps / CalWORKS / Kin-GAP / FDPIR benefits, case numbers must be written on the Scholarship Application. Scholarships are not available through online registration, the mail, after the final walk in registration (May 8, 2010), or once the Scholarship budget is exhausted for 2010. |
|
The registration of each player and coach is at the discretion of the Sonoma Valley Youth Soccer Association pursuant to CYSA guidelines.
While it is SVYSA's intention to provide soccer opportunities to as many players as possible, SVYSA is not obliged to register any particular player.
Not registering a particular player may be the result of not having an appropriate team available, not having an appropriate coach available, documentation and the payment of fees not being completed, a previous history of player or parent behavior problems, or other factors. |
Dear Parents, Coaches, and Age Group Coordinators:
When dropping off or picking up material from me, please use the green soccer box near my front door, located at 18822 Riverside Dr. (between Verano Ave. and El Verano School). It is marked SVYSA. Please do NOT use the USPS mail box on the street as our postal carrier removes and returns anything without postage that hasn't passed through the post office.
Parents, if you need to communicate with someone in the League about your player, please contact your coach or Age Group Coordinator (listed on the Directors page), as most issues can be solved at the coach and AGC level.
Coaches and AGCs, if you need to communicate with me about anything, email is preferred as it helps accurately document what needs to be addressed.
Thank you.
Sincerely, Renee Caruso SVYSA Registrar registrar@sonomasoccer.org |
We are always looking for assistance at the walk-in registration sessions. We have a job for every skill level, and Spanish speakers are always in high demand. Please email the registrar if you would like to offer assistance. |
